so the new LK.com is still coming…i swear! life has been busy and weird. good weird (travel!) and bad weird (home invasions!), and it’s been keeping me..uh…busy. which i said already? anyway. here is a little peek at what’s to come plus a couple of pretty food photos in the meantime. xo.

i had an amazing time recently taking photos at the recently opened brushstroke restaurant. the food was GORGEOUS and so detailed and delicate… it was basically a dream job! there’s not really much more i can say…i think the pictures speak for themselves!

so obviously valentines day was 2 months ago now and while jacob & i did “celebrate” late (i was in chicago on 02/14), it was only a few days later… i’m just slow with getting these things online.

we had an amazing lunch at perry street here in nyc and trust me, everything was as delicious as it was beautiful!

what a weird second half of winter it’s been. it feels like it’s never going to really end. i’ve fallen behind on blogging even though i’ve taken plenty of lovely pictures of lovely places but it seems like i never get around to posting them here. i’ll have to remedy that. first step is posting some pictures, so here are some i took a couple of weeks ago at a pop-up restaurant here in nyc called maharlika. if you’re into filipino food i suggest you check it out. they even have some of the more hardcore items like balut….which personally is my worst nightmare in terms of something to eat but i’ve never claimed to the THAT adventurous. haha
