so the ol’ LK blog has been sorely neglected as of late, and let me reassure you that it’s not because i don’t love you…but rather it’s just that i’ve been so dang busy. AND i’m working on an all new LK site & blog which will be debuting within the next couple of weeks….how exciting!

in the meantime, here are a couple of pictures from my trip to london this summer. i love that place so much and if there weren’t things like citizenship, money, job security, etc. etc. to worry about, i’d live there in a heartbeat.

i had an amazing time recently taking photos at the recently opened brushstroke restaurant. the food was GORGEOUS and so detailed and delicate… it was basically a dream job! there’s not really much more i can say…i think the pictures speak for themselves!

so obviously valentines day was 2 months ago now and while jacob & i did “celebrate” late (i was in chicago on 02/14), it was only a few days later… i’m just slow with getting these things online.

we had an amazing lunch at perry street here in nyc and trust me, everything was as delicious as it was beautiful!

what a weird second half of winter it’s been. it feels like it’s never going to really end. i’ve fallen behind on blogging even though i’ve taken plenty of lovely pictures of lovely places but it seems like i never get around to posting them here. i’ll have to remedy that. first step is posting some pictures, so here are some i took a couple of weeks ago at a pop-up restaurant here in nyc called maharlika. if you’re into filipino food i suggest you check it out. they even have some of the more hardcore items like balut….which personally is my worst nightmare in terms of something to eat but i’ve never claimed to the THAT adventurous. haha

a lunch & a resolution

inspired by my non-professional (but still really excellent at taking pictures, i should add) photographer friends who take pictures just for the love of it, i decided that for 2011 i’m going to try and take more pictures during my life and not just when i’m working. i became a photographer because it’s something i love to do, but i realized that i was mostly only doing it when i had to for a job and not just for the fun of it anymore.

on monday (MLK day), jacob and i treated ourselves to a nice lunch at soba-ya in the east village. it was amazing and i loved it and i can’t wait to go back again sometime.
