been extremely busy lately! i’ll have some good posts coming up in the next couple of days, but for now i give you:

1) gwen stefani of no doubt looking exactly the same as she did in 1994. girl is doing something right, that’s for sure. (see more pics of no doubt & their opening band paramore over at the time out ny website

2) my new bff (i wish!!) doug, proprietor of the big gay ice cream truck. my boyfriend jacob who accompanied me to meet doug (for a story on best “street eats”/mobile food vendors in nyc) and he cannot stop raving about the nutella ice cream sandwich (or cartwheel, as they are called). if you live in the city, be sure to track him down sometime this summer!

one of the perks of living in nyc? sample sales!

yesterday through this weekend, there is a melissa shoes sample sale happening and i stopped by. the first pair is from their collaboration with vivienne westwood, the second pair is from their regular collection. it took so much restraint not to buy like 4 pairs! (but being only $45…for vivienne westwood shoes?! could you blame me?)

check out my first print feature for time out new york in this week’s issue! a two page spread; not too shabby, eh? my name is spelled slightly off (to be fair, Lizz is a dumb name and i’m sure whoever edited the page thought an extra ‘Z’ was a typo or something. haha) but no worries, i ‘fixed’ it.

very stoked about it overall! also, i’ll have more coming up in next week’s issue as well.
