ok, so in addition to food, i’ve also been shooting a lot of drinks/bars lately…so hey, why not make a photo post featuring some of those shots as well?

and yes, the bartenders always insist on making sure the drink gets..er…drank. gee, my job sure is rough! haha.

so my latest and greatest assignment over the past couple of days has been shooting people & their homes for an upcoming design-centric issue of time out. seeing other peoples’ spaces made me want to show off *my* space…however, i’m a bit too lazy to take photos (and especially too lazy to make my apartment…erm..photo ready, atm) so instead i’ll show off some older pics i took of my place maybe about a year ago. some minor details are different, but in essence it’s pretty much the same. maybe my next project will be to take new photos…and have coverage of all the rooms? i do have photos of my living room, but they’re even older and WAY more outdated, sooo…just the kitchen and (part) of the bedroom. the funny thing is, i think my place looks nice in these pics, but honestly i’m over it and want to move to a new place and take my home aesthetic in a totally new direction…

i’ve accumulated quite the collection of food photography over the past couple of months, so i decided to put some sets together for this here blog which i should be posting on far more than i do.

believe it or not, these photographs are just the tip of the iceberg! stay tuned and i’ll be posting additional sets of delightfully delicious looking foods as well as an entire post devoted to drinks (the alcoholic kind!).

i had a bit of a rough day ‘in the field’ so to speak today, so going through these photos and seeing how great they look (in my humble opinion) was a much needed confidence boost after some of the events today that left me feeling fairly discouraged.
