two things….

1) abraco- the cutest/tiniest little coffee house in the east village.
2) a hole-in-the-wall dumpling house in elmhurst, queens that had the most beautiful light in their kitchen…

so i love beth ditto and i love her band, the gossip. i’ve probably seen them over 10 times now, the first being waaaay back in feb. 2002 at the fireside bowl in chicago, with probably only about 100 other people. they’ve certainly made their way up in the world, and when i had the opportunity to shoot them at terminal 5 this past friday, i jumped at the chance (even though i hate terminal 5 as a venue). i’d actually intended on going to the show even if i wasn’t taking pictures, so that was just a bonus.
